The Stellar trial Skin needling

The Sunday Mail (Queensland) - Stellar - - Beauty -

This non-invasive, anti-ageing treatment aims to boost the production of collagen – the structural protein that gives young skin its plump, dewy appearance.

A high-tech Tri-m wand device with micro needles pierces the skin at high speed, reaching the deeper dermis while leaving the outer layer intact. The resultant “channels” are then flooded with antioxidant-rich actives that regulate cell function and improve skin’s appearance.

Topical anaesthetic is not needed, because the 30-minute treatment creates a buzzing, not painful, sensation. Any redness subsides in two to four days.

Needling targets fine lines as well as pigmentation and loss of elasticity, and it can also help scar tissue fade.
