KING RALPH (1991) 7MATE, 7.30PM, PG,

The Sunday Mail (Queensland) - TV Guide - - HIGHLIGHTS -

There’s a mix of comedy and romance in this showcase for big John Goodman, with support from Peter O’Toole. When all the members of Britain’s royal family are wiped out, the only person who can be found to be successor to the throne is a piano-playing American lounge entertainer from Las Vegas (Goodman). O’Toole brings his customary style to the role of Wingham, the adviser who helps King Ralph adjust to life in Buckingham Palace. The villain trying to get rid of Ralph and send him back to Vegas is played by John Hurt. ★★✩
