The Sunday Mail (Queensland) - TV Guide - - HIGHLIGHTS -

An ageing pianist makes a final grab for international recognition, by entering a prestigious competition. Amy Irving, Lee Remick. ★★✩ Mini Coopers, and the Ocean’s trilogy (2001-2007) with less class. And there’s nothing wrong with that. Based on the true story of a multimilliondollar bank robbery in London in 1971, murder, corruption and a sex scandal with links to the royal family. If it wasn’t such a thrilling action-crime film, it could have made a great documentary. Action hero Jason Statham is convincing as petty-criminalgone-straight Terry Leather, and Saffron Burrows, as ex-girlfriend Martine Love, and Peter de Jersey, as black militant Michael X, are superb. ★★★✩
