The Sunday Mail (Queensland) - TV Guide - - COVER FEATURE -

1 ROBIN GRIFFIN

(ELISABETH MOSS) A detective who mainly works in social work and

with children, she is strong but fragile. She loves children and has a

passion for helping them at all costs. She believes in finding the

truth, no matter the situation, and won’t turn

a blind eye to lies.

2 AL PARKER

(DAVID WENHAM)

As detective senior sergeant, he’s head of the Queenstown Police Station. He loves the lifestyle and the boys’ club atmosphere. He is old-school but doesn’t see everything in black and white, which means he’s not afraid of mingling with the bad guys in social

situations.

3 JOHNNO

(THOMAS M. WRIGHT) He has spent the past 10 years in prison for drug

offences and has returned home, but not to his family or his old way of life. He is trying to find a new path in life when he is reunited with his first love, Robin, and the two have an emotional affair.

4 MATT MITCHAM

(PETER MULLAN) The town drug lord, he is a narcissistic and brutal man often lacking in conscience. He has a certain amount of self-loathing, a complex relationship with his

mother, a difficult relationship with his children and a sense of entitlement. He’s rude, and

full of self-pity.
