ALADDIN

The Sunday Mail (Queensland) - TV Guide - - HIGHLIGHTS -

It might not have all the impressive special effects now common in cartoon flicks, but this 1992 Disney film, re-released on Blu-ray and DVD, is a classic for a reason. It combines a magical story with beautiful musical numbers and humour in a sharp and entertaining package. The story follows street-smart thief Aladdin who is lured by an evil man to retrieve a magical lamp. But when Aladdin and his monkey, Abu, discover a wise-cracking, wish-granting genie inside the lamp it opens up a world of possibilities. Robin Williams is simply brilliant as the hilarious Genie. ★★★★ Extras: Movie music mode and Sing-along mode (more on Blu-ray) ★
