FOUR LIONS (2010) SBS ONE, 9.30PM, M, COMEDY

The Sunday Mail (Queensland) - TV Guide - - HIGHLIGHTS -

Walking the path of comedy and potential terrorism is a very fine line indeed and in these times of political correctness some may seem fit to commend the team behind this film for being so adventurous. Director Christopher Morris co-wrote this story about four disillusioned British men who form what could be loosely termed a terrorist cell. The problem is, these blokes are largely inept and while they may be big on ideology, they are low on any real chance of causing physical damage. An attempt to humanise the face of terrorism is made by playing out farce in return for laughs. ★★★
