GHOSTBUSTERS (1984) 7MATE, 6.30PM, PG, COMEDY

The Sunday Mail (Queensland) - TV Guide - - HIGHLIGHTS -

For many of the insatiable StarWars generation, Ghostbusters was just the tonic: an offbeat ride into supernatural peril with Dan Aykroyd, Harold Ramis and the sardonic Bill Murray playing the entrepreneurial parapsychologists operating as the eponymous combatants of terror and “slime” in New York City. A subplot holds romance for Murray and the alternately coy and seductive Sigourney Weaver, whose nerdish neighbour Rick Moranis makes a priceless contribution to the chaos. Brags Murray: “We came, we saw … we kicked its ass!” Boy, did they ever!
