LYNDEY MILAN’S TASTE OF IRELAND
Monday, 7.30pm, LifeStyle FOOD
A place ridiculed for its lack of culinary diversity and obsession with the potato, Ireland hardly seems like a country worth filming a food show about. But Aussie cook Lyndey Milan is out to prove that idea wrong.
She’s learning about some of the country’s delicacies, discovering its history and meeting local producers.
This week she’s in County Mayo, in Ireland’s west, talking to a lamb producer and meeting an acclaimed black pudding maker. She also gets cooking rack of lamb with Irish brown bread crust and black pudding.
