The Sunday Mail (Queensland) - TV Guide - - COVER FEATURE -

1 GRACE BARNES (Brooke Satchwell)

Uptight, driven and politically-correct, Grace, 31, is a defamation lawyer. She makes well-considered choices, and always sticks to her budget. She internalises her feelings and hates conflict. But she’s not a bore. She’s smart, insightful, with a dry sense of humour, a natural feminist with informed opinions.

2 TOM WILCOX (Michael Dorman)

Clever, charming and hapless with love, Tom adores women. He’s a romantic at heart, but he’s only been in love once. Every woman after that could have been ‘‘the one’’ if only he could take that step further. His commitment problems extend to the rest of his life as well, which is a source of endless frustration for his friends and family.

3 MIRANDA BEAUMONT (Anna Bamford)

Spirited, passionate and creative, former pharmacist Miranda now lives for her art and photography. She’s disorganised but she’s never going to change. Rarely intimidated, Miranda is perceptive and resourceful, with a wicked sense of humour and is quite oblivious to just how gorgeous and fabulous she is.

Driven, cautious yet generous, Steve is constantly trying to be in control of everything. His frequent worrying is the result of his younger brother’s death which tore his family apart. Away at university when it happened, Steve blamed himself for not being there for his little brother. It also added to his desire to have everything under control.

5 DANI VARVARIS (Jessica Tovey)

Smart, funny, sexy, Greek princess Dani has a slightly heightened sense of entitlement. She doesn’t avoid nor seek confrontation. She sticks up for herself and for those she loves and if something is annoying her, then people are going to know about it. She hates being wrong and, more often than not, gets her own way.
