LOVE IS ALL YOU NEED (OUT WEDNESDAY)

The Sunday Mail (Queensland) - TV Guide - - HIGHLIGHTS -

Love isn’t all you need – a smarter story and better actors is what you need for this rom-com to delight. Pierce Brosnan may have hoped to repeat his MammaMia! success, but his character, a widower still mourning the loss of his wife, just isn’t as endearing. Although, thankfully, the distraught husband doesn’t burst into song when he travels to Italy for the wedding of his son. Along the way he inadvertently meets the mother of the bride, before they realise they are going to the same place for the same reason. This flick has all the family intrigue of MammaMia!, without the sense of light and fun. Partly in Danish. ★★ Extras: Interviews with Pierce Brosnan and Trine Dyrholm, theatrical trailer. ★★
