ONE FINE DAY (1996) TEN, 12.30PM, PG, ROMANCE

The Sunday Mail (Queensland) - TV Guide - - HIGHLIGHTS -

Leaving not a single cliché unturned, Michelle Pfeiffer (above) and George Clooney play single parents (she feisty, he charming) who meet and fall in love – though with much anxiety – in one day. Their kids (Alex D. Linz and Mae Whitman) are each on hand to read out the writing on the wall. It’s a very good thing the leads are easy on the eye: this sort of sentimentality would normally have you reaching for a brown paper bag. ★★★
