THE BIG WEDDING (OUT WEDNESDAY)
Big wedding, big disaster. That’s not just a comment on what happens when divorced parents (Robert DeNiro and Diane Keaton) pretend to still be married to appease their adopted son’s birth mother, but on this ensemble comedy. It is a FatherOfTheBride/MeetTheFockers mash-up, but without any of the humour. Both the bride and groom’s relatives are pretty horrible characters and even Robin Williams, who plays the priest, can’t squeeze a laugh out of his lines. ★✩ Extras: None.
