BEDTIME STORIES (2008) SEVEN, 6.30PM, G, FAMILY

The Sunday Mail (Queensland) - TV Guide - - HIGHLIGHTS -

Adam Sandler’s forays into comedy have generally been strictly for adults ( INow PronounceYouChuckand Larry), so it’s nice to see the funnyman back in some family friendly territory. Sandler is Skeeter, a handyman recruited by his sister (Courteney Cox) to babysit her two children. In the hopes of bonding with the youngsters, he entertains them with made-up bedtime stories, but once events in the tales start happening in reallife, he realises that the kids’ narrative input has some sort of magical effect. Comedian Russell Brand stands out in a cast of substantial actors, including Keri Russell, Guy Pearce and Teresa Palmer. ★★
