7. 3 0PM, T E N

Ordinary home cooks competing for potential supermarket riches – what’s not to love about this show? Tonight, there’s a bloke from Queensland with pork, apple and cinnamon sausages facing off against a woman from Victoria with beef ball san choy bow. The dishes are clever and the reward on offer is pretty impressive, if they can please judges and mentors Carolyn Cresswell, Russel Howcroft and Darren Robertson (all above).

SCANDAL 1 0.1 5 PM, S E VEN Dastardly plots, good old-fashioned espionage, political games and a deeply personal past put Olivia on a collision course with the White House. There’s a lot going on in this episode, as always, but this series and its many storylines are as strong as ever. A particular highlight is Lisa Kudrow as Josie Marcus, a presidential hopeful.

REIGN 6. 3 0PM, FOX8 King Henry returns from Rome and nd accuses Queen Catherine of adultery tery with Nostradamus, with the goal of executing her. Okay, so it’s clear this his fictional series about Mary Queen n of Scots has thrown history in the bin n for all but a few moments. But it’s an easy watch with a decent script and a good cast, including handsome Torrance e Coombs (pictured) as Sebastian.
