COMEDY HORRIBLE HISTORIES: FRIGHTFUL FIRST WORLD WAR
7 PM, ABC3
A sketch special that delivers war stories in a reasonably funny way. We see how, on Christmas Day 1914, a truce was called so soldiers could play a “friendly” football match. “Is that a player warming up on the sidelines?” a match commentator asks. “No,” his commentating colleague responds. “It’s just someone itching from the lice in the trenches.”

You can’t help but smile when Louie’s doctor tells him, “You may be the single most boring person I’ve ever met – no offence.”
