A NEW study of the biggest pay cheques in showbiz by The Hollywood Reporter claims Ashton Kutcher is TV’s top money man, earning a staggering $750,000 an episode of Two And A Half Men; followed by NCIS’s silver fox, Mark Harmon ($500k an ep); and the cast of The Big Bang Theory who each bag $350,000 an episode. Also on the list were Extant’s Halle Berry and Madam Secretary star Tea Leoni, who were lured to the small screen for $150k an episode.
THE posthumous honours for The Sopranos star James Gandolfini have continued, with the late leading man inducted into the New Jersey Hall Of Fame this month. His TV co-star Vincent Pastore (mobster Salvatore ‘Big Pussy’ Bonpensiero) led cast tributes.
MODERN Family favourite Ty Burrell has inked himself a more permanent deal with Twentieth Century Fox TV. The man who brings the bungling Phil Dunphy to life will write, co-create and develop his own comedy projects as well as identify development opportunities for the studio.
