MINISERIES

WORLD WITHOUT END

8.4 0PM, ABC

This mini-series adaptation of Ken Follett’s bestselling novel hasn’t created as much buzz as other recent medieval tales, probably because it was far more staid and old school than Game of Thrones. That said, this final episode packs as much heightened drama as it can: a cannibalistic monk, a witch burning at the stake, several suicides, a people’s revolution, and Brother Thomas’s (Ben Chaplin, above) big reveal – outing himself as the rightful King.

MOVIE

THE THREE STOOGES

8.30PM, ELEVEN

Before The Farrelly Brothers bring Lloyd and Harry (Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels) back to cinemas in Dumb and Dumber To on January 8, why not watch their 2012 homage to the classic comic trio of Larry, Moe and Curly? It’s as silly as you’d expect, but better than you might ght fear.

DRAMA

COVERT AFFAIRS

10.45 PM, SEVEN

Those who have persevered with this CIA A drama will be rewarded for their sleepless Sunday nights in this two-part finale as Annie e (Piper Perabo, right with h co-star Chris Gorham) tracks down CIA turncoat at Henry in Hong Kong.
