Can-do think­ing king and a pos­i­tive at­ti­tude in the face of all ev­i­dence leads to wardss and wards of veg­eta­bles kept aliveve at an in­cred­i­ble cost by fam­i­lies whoho won’t turn off life sup­port. But ut it’s hard not to sym­pa­thise with a can­cer pa­tient tak­ing ev­ery last des­per­ate mea­sure to pro­long their life.
