BODY­LINE (1984) As Don­ald Brad­man he faced off against Hugo Weav­ing’s Dou­glas Jar­dine in this cel­e­brated minis­eries

PO­LICE RES­CUE (1989-96) Sweet hit pay­dirt as Sgt Steve “Mickey” McLin­tock in this ABC ac­tion-drama.

BIG SKY (1997-99) Ten’s avi­a­tion drama, with Sweet as pi­lot Chris Man­ning, never re­ally flew to great heights.

STINGERS (2002-04) One of his favourite roles was bipo­lar In­spec­tor Luke Har­ris on the un­der­cover cop se­ries. THE CIR­CUIT (2007 and

2009/10) Sweet played mag­is­trate Peter Lock­hart op­po­site Aaron Ped­er­sen’s mixed-race solic­i­tor Drew El­lis in the ground-break­ing SBS drama.

THE PA­CIFIC (2010) Sweet was one of the most prom­i­nent Aussies in the big bud­get minis­eries from Tom Hanks and Steven Spiel­berg.

COPS LAC (2010) One he prob­a­bly doesn’t want on the CV. The drama barely lasted a sea­son. HOUSE HUS­BANDS (2012-cur­rent) A real change of pace. Sweet plays dad Lewis Crabb with co­me­dian Ju­lia Mor­ris as his wife.
