BODYLINE (1984) As Donald Bradman he faced off against Hugo Weaving’s Douglas Jardine in this celebrated miniseries
POLICE RESCUE (1989-96) Sweet hit paydirt as Sgt Steve “Mickey” McLintock in this ABC action-drama.
BIG SKY (1997-99) Ten’s aviation drama, with Sweet as pilot Chris Manning, never really flew to great heights.
STINGERS (2002-04) One of his favourite roles was bipolar Inspector Luke Harris on the undercover cop series. THE CIRCUIT (2007 and
2009/10) Sweet played magistrate Peter Lockhart opposite Aaron Pedersen’s mixed-race solicitor Drew Ellis in the ground-breaking SBS drama.
THE PACIFIC (2010) Sweet was one of the most prominent Aussies in the big budget miniseries from Tom Hanks and Steven Spielberg.
COPS LAC (2010) One he probably doesn’t want on the CV. The drama barely lasted a season. HOUSE HUSBANDS (2012-current) A real change of pace. Sweet plays dad Lewis Crabb with comedian Julia Morris as his wife.
