Tonight our parish priest is visiting his former Rector (Dudley Sutton) at Upcotte Seminary when he witnesses the “suicide” of a trainee priest. But he’s sure there is a murderer at work.

This special sees him pick the best from series one – a solid serve of carnivorous heaven from the Middle Ages, an ejaculating cake from ancient Rome (sorry, there’s no other way to describe it) and a cockentrice – basically a pig’s head sewn onto a turkey. Frankenstein food with bite.
