FACTUAL MAKING FAMILIES HAPPY

8. 3 0PM, ABC

Fresh from matching up total strangers at the altar in MarriedatFirstSight, relationship expert John Aiken looks to overhaul the attitudes of three miserable families. Here’s hoping his success rate lifts. Along with child psychologist Clare Rowe (above with Aiken), he uses scientific techniques to help make these families happy. Get out your notepads, there’s lots of learning for us all here.

REALITY

MASTERCHEF AUSTRALIA 7. 3 0PM, T E N It’s immunity pin time again, but with a twist. Two contestants will be cooking as a team against husband-and-wife celebrity chef duo Monte and Jaclyn Koludrovic. Should the underdogs win, they’ll get a pin each. Big stakes always create great kitchen antics, especially when you have two competitors forced to work together.

COMEDY

THE BRINK 7. 3 0PM, S HOWCASE There’s a stellar cast and crew behind this political satire, including stars Jack Black and Tim Robbins (right), as well as director Jay Roach ( MeettheParents). But while the acting is top-notch, there’s a little left to be desired in this new series which is set during a period of crisis in Pakistan. Worth watching to see where it goes.
