BIO JULIA ZEMIRO’S HOME DELIVERY

9PM, ABC

Political singer-songwriter Billy Bragg turns up in his own classic car – a Ford Cortina Mark 1 – and drives Julia Zemiro along the A13 he famously sang about. During a trip to his family home he reveals he left three times to become a rock star and ended up back in his cold, damp bedroom – so at the first flush of fame he installed central heating so it’d be nicer if he ended up back there again.

CULT MOVIE

SCREAMERS 1 0.1 0PM, S BS2 Not the best flick ever based on a Philip K. Dick story ( MinorityReport, TotalRecall) but this 1995 cult classic about robotic weapons that turn on their masters is the only one featuring heroes mowing down dozens of small boys clutching teddy bears. The InvasionoftheBodySnatchersstyle plot means no one is who they seem.

HORROR

THE STRAIN 8. 3 0PM, FOX8 Chronicling a disgusting outbreak of zombie-like vampires hitting New York, this was one of last year’s most enjoyably icky guilty pleasures. This season our heroes Eph (Corey Stoll in a bad wig, above) and Nora (Mia Maestro) are trying to create a biological weapon before the infection spreads too far. Fast-tracked.
