Top pick

The Sunday Mail (Queensland) - TV Guide - - TODAY'S PICK -

8. 3 0PM, S BS

This program proves all you need to do to combat anti-refugee sentiment is to take each racist on an expensive tour of global trouble-spots. Like Syria, where Andrew has an epiphany about the attitude of “people on the right, like me” towards refugees to “avoid dealing with the human cost of it all”.

BOSCH 9. 3 5 PM, S BS Second ep of this show which, no, is not a doco on the whitegoods manufacturer, rather, a dark police procedural. Starring Titus Welliver (the nasty prosecutor on TheGoodWife) as the brooding taciturn cop, it feels like an old-fashioned detective yarn, albeit one that’s a little slow and talky on occasion. A second season has been announced.

GLITCH 8. 3 0PM, ABC There’s a lot of love for this series and I can understand why: it’s about time Australia made a quality serial. But while each episode is quite well done, I never feel a compelling need to find out what happens next. Tonight, Vic (Andrew McFarlane) gets in Maria’s (Daniela Farinacci, pictured with McFarlane) head about the doc’s motives.
