The Sunday Mail (Queensland) - TV Guide - - WATCH ON PRESTO -

8. 3 0PM, S BS2

This show is a kind of Kiwi take on Bear Grylls, starring Barrie Rice and Chris Kumeroa. They take on some of the most extreme parts of the North Island. With the right skills, a bit of creative thinking and some inspiration from the rich Maori culture, they “survive” a variety of scenarios. Plus the scenery is, as you’d expect, pretty spectacular.

ROOM TO IMPROVE 7. 3 0PM, L I F E ST YLE HOME The interior transformations they manage in this show are incredible. From rescuing a derelict 1940s cottage to renovating a 19th century schoolhouse, architect Dermot Bannon gives an intimate look at a host of design projects. Each one is fraught with human and financial drama, lastminute changes and unexpected disasters.

BONDI VET 6PM, T E N Chiselled animallover Dr Chris Brown (right) rushes to the aid of a critically ill swan that’s got itself caught in a soccer net in a suburban backyard. The poor thing is emaciated d and d running out of f time. Can our hero veterinarian save the day? There’s also a segment on “extreme styling” of pooches, which is colourful to say the least.
