COMEDY THE EX-PM
9.0 5 PM, ABC
Shaun Micallef (above) shines on MadasHell but his new sitcom is more hit-and-miss. There are some clever early zingers aimed at the ABC but the storyline involving former prime minister Andrew Dugdale (Micallef) giving a talk at Grandparents’ Day falls a bit flat. Francis Greenslade is the standout as dim-witted chauffeur Curtis.

Tonight’s season two opener features an all-new w cast, including Kirsten Dunst, Patrick Wilson, Tedd Danson and Jeffrey Donovan, and a new storyline yline set around a mob turf war in 1979.
