Quentin Tarantino’s bloody ode to martial arts and revenge flicks is too long by half (it’s literally the second instalment of what was planned as a single feature). Less action-packed and arguably more satisfying than part one, it’s still not a patch on his classics PulpFiction and InglouriousBasterds.
FUHRER CULT AND MEGALOMANIA 7. 3 0PM, HI STORY Documentary that looks at Hitler’s grand plans for Nuremberg where he held Nazi rallies attended by 1.5 million people. “Even the pyramids will be dwarfed” Hitler said of his plans which included the world’s biggest stadium, four times larger than the MCG. The huge 16 sq km site is now dilapidated, and the question is whether it should be preserved as a warning or allowed to rot.
