8.30PM, ELEVEN A slightly disappointing adaptation of the longrunning Broadway musical. The songs are insanely catchy, but the story jammed between is anything but. And that’s a shame, because a cracking good tale – the plot is a thinly-veiled take on the tumultuous career of Diana Ross and the Supremes – goes largely untold here. By all means bring your ears, but be sure to give your brain the night off. Stars Beyonce Knowles, Jennifer Hudson, Jamie Foxx.
