DRUNK HISTORY

9.35 PM, SBSV ICELAND Hamilton star Lin-Manuel Miranda (above) has one too many bourbons and re-enacts the story of Alexander Hamilton, the man he recently immortalised on Broadway to great acclaim. If every historical event was re-told in classrooms by drunk performers, there’d be straight As all round. Excellent.

DAVID BOWIE: THE LAST FIVE YEARS

8. 3 0PM, ABC2 He had a career spanning 50 years, but in the last five, David Bowie might have produced some of his finest and most fascinating work. Produced and directed by Francis Whately, this superb doco focuses on the artist’s last three creative projects. It’s unbelievably revealing and unbearably sad. Unmissable.

24: LEGACY

8.30 PM, TEN I quite liked episode one of this series. But the next instalment, not so much. Homeland has made it feel as though I’ve seen – and heard – it all before. That said, the last five minutes are heart-stoppingly good. So I’ll be sticking with this, at least for another hour. 24:Legacy, you’re on notice.
