8.30PM, FOX­TEL’S MAS­TER­PIECE Based on the Christopher Ish­er­wood novel, A Sin­gle Man tracks a day in the life of Ge­orge (Colin Firth), a gay, mid­dle-aged Brit teach­ing lit­er­a­ture at a Los An­ge­les col­lege in the early 1960s. Such is the de­spair in which we find Ge­orge, it could be the last day of his life. Co-stars Ju­lianne Moore.
