Adam Lo started volunteeri­ng when he was still at school, do­ing ev­ery­thing from door knock­ing and fundrais­ing to com­mu­nity broad­cast­ing on Ra­dio 4EB FM, where he has served as a youth rep­re­sen­ta­tive, group con­vener and board di­rec­tor. He also served sev­eral years in the Youth Com­mit­tee and as the Na­tional Youth chair­man for the Na­tional Eth­nic Mul­ti­cul­tural Broad­caster’s Coun­cil. Now an oc­cu­pa­tional ther­a­pistth spe­cial­is­ing in men­tal health,h he is in­volved in Oc­cu­pa­tional Ther­apy OA OA Aus­tralia Queens­land Di­vi­sion while also a re­servist of­fi­cer with the RAAF. He has served as a ju­nior vice-pres­i­dent at the Sun­ny­bank branch of the Re­turned and Ser­vice’s League and is a mem­ber of the Aus­tralians of Chi­nese Her­itage War Me­mo­rial.
