NO MOODY RECEPTION FOR PRIZES
PETER Moody yesterday made a public statement about the way he is perceived by some racing officials by not appearing at the post-race victory presentations at Caulfield.
Moody, who last week rejected an invitation to attend the Victorian Racehorse of the Year awards to accept the trophy for Dissident, last week was informed of a directions hearing by the Racing Appeals and Disciplinary Board on September 9.
Moody faces a cobalt charge involving Lidari at last year’s Spring Carnival.
The trainer has become miffed about the way some officials suddenly deem him “prejudicial to the image of racing”.
