Froth and bubbles for Lamb Chop

The Sunday Mail (Queensland) - - NEWS - MICHELLE COLLINS

LAMB Chop is a pooch used to being pampered.

“Mum” to the five-year-old pomeranian is 30-year-old Sisi Tang, who owns My Teddy Bear in Bowen Hills – a canine boutique, grooming salon and doggie daycare centre.

At the salon, canine clients are indulged with microbubble spa baths, massages with an activated charcoal and essential oil scrub, and essential oil dog cologne.

Mr Teddy Bear’s groomers don’t just cut hair, Ms Tang said.

They are stylists who advise on the best look for a dog’s breed, body structure and lifestyle.

Ms Tang, who gave up her accounting job to set up Mr Teddy Bear so she could spend more time with Lamb Chop, said it was about taking the time to talk to clients about the style they wanted for their dog and their lifestyle.

“And grooming should be an enjoyable experience, just like it is for us when we pamper ourselves,” she said.
