Celebs out­raged as West wings it at White House

CELEBRI­TIES have re­acted in anger and amaze­ment fol­low­ing Kanye West’s meet­ing with US Pres­i­dent Don­ald Trump at the White House e last week.

At the meet­ing (pic­tured) the singer wore a red “Make Amer­ica a Great Again” cap, which he claimed made him feel l like Su­per­man.

In an im- promptu, 10-min- ute mono­logue, West spoke about US man­u­fac­tur­ing, end­ing “stop and frisk” in Chicago, busi­ness, crime and pun­ish­ment, and why Mr Trump needs de­fend­ing. Among the many in­cen­di­ary com­ments West made at the lunch, he pro­claimed that “Trump is on his hero’s journ ney right now”. Dis­gusted fello low mu­sic stars h have threat­ened to cut ties with the ra rap star and fashio ion de­signer. AfricanAmer­i­can news­caster Don L Le­mon de­scribed the vis visit as “a min­strel show”.

West “needs help”, he said, claim­ing the rap­per is be­ing used as a pawn by Mr Trump to get black vot­ers on side.
