The Sunday Mail (Queensland) - - CONFIDENTIAL -

AUSTRALIAN model mum Gemma Ward made her international catwalk comeback last month when she walked in New York Fashion Week for Proenza Schouler.

This was followed by her appearance for Alexander McQueen at Paris Fashion Week on October 1.

And while 15 years has passed and two children have arrived since her international debut, Ward (pictured) said not much has changed.

“I think the same rush is still there from walking at 15 and walking at 30,” she said.

“It will always be exhilarating. I think I just look at things a bit more calmly and take everything as it comes.”

Ward, who is currently based in New York, will return to Australia next month to attend the Caulfield Cup in Sydney for department store David Jones.

The 30-year-old said she’s excited to attend the race day for the first time.
