Fi­bre-rich foods such as peas and beans are much bet­ter at keep­ing us full than pro­tein-heavy meats, ac­cord­ing to new re­search from the Univer­sity of Copen­hagen. And when peo­ple eat legumes for one meal, they tend to eat 12 per cent fewer kilo­joules at the next.
