We’re not sure what you’ll fall in love with more at Aus­tralia’s first to­tally ve­gan B& B, Bed & Broc­coli. The tran­quil 24 hectares of bush­land, host Nikki’s in­cred­i­ble home­made piz­zas that you can cook in the on­site pizza oven, or ‘Hef the rooster’, who clucks around his lady chick­ens with all the swag­ger of his fa­mous name­sake.

Stay in the spa­cious ren­o­vated B& B space in the old barn, where a hearty ve­gan brekkie is served each morn­ing. How­ever, a ded­i­ca­tion to the ve­gan life­style doesn’t stop at the food here – no an­i­mal fab­rics or prod­ucts are used in the home or guest suite. Lo­cated in El­phin­stone, Vic­to­ria, it’s also a 15-minute drive from Castle­maine, which was re­cently named by an­i­mal rights group PETA as the most ve­gan-friendly small town in Aus­tralia.
