WEARABLE BLOOD MONITOR

The Sunday Telegraph (Sydney) - Body and Soul - - NEWS -

Thanks to rapid advances in health-tracking technology, the next generation of wearable devices will count blood cells. Developed by Rutgers University in the US, the new smartband is similar to a regular wearable, but as well as monitoring your heart rate and exercise activity, it will take samples of your blood and transmit the data to your smartphone. The device could help diagnose various conditions such as internal bleeding and certain cancers.
