ARTHUR’S PASS & DEVIL’S PUNCHBOWL

The Sunday Telegraph (Sydney) - Body and Soul - - TRAVEL -

If you’re driving across the South Island, it’s likely you’ll go through Arthur’s Pass. The sheer rock faces and dense native bush are worth stopping to explore, as is the nearby Devil’s Punchbowl track. The 2km walk only takes about an hour, but you’ll remember the waterfall at the end for a long time after. Visit doc.govt.nz
