Train­ing should be part of all breast can­cer re­cov­ery, ac­cord­ing to a study in the Jour­nal of Clin­i­cal On­col­ogy. At least 150 min­utes of mod­er­ate car­dio and some strength work a week will counter the weight of­ten gained dur­ing treat­ment and the risk of metabolic syn­drome – a group of con­di­tions such as high blood pres­sure, stroke and heart disease.
