FROM THE EDITOR
I used to be a pretty lazy holidaymaker. Holidays, where possible, consisted of moving from lounger to pool/ocean and back again. But gradually over the last few years, the lounging’s been replaced by hiking, and rather than quick dips to cool off, I’m more likely to jump in a kayak when there’s water around. Turns out, I’m not the only one. Active breaks are officially on the rise, so we’ve rounded up of the best in Australia on page 12. From horse-riding in the Kimberley, to snorkelling on Lord Howe Island and paragliding in Canberra – you’ll find options on land, sea and air to get your adrenaline pumping. Enjoy!
