The 2019-2020 Australian cruise season will be a record one for Princess Cruises. Five ships, including the return of flagship Majestic
Princess, will sail more than 125 departures offering itineraries to more than 100 destinations departing from Sydney, Fremantle, Adelaide, Melbourne, Brisbane and Auckland.
It will include the maiden arrival of the 3080-guest Ruby Princess,a record three round-trip international voyages from Adelaide, a record number of days (141) deployed from Fremantle, Sea Princess sailing from Brisbane and Golden Princess sailing from Melbourne.
Bookings for Princess’s largest Australian and New Zealand season open at 9am, April 18, 2018, for Elite Princess guests and the following day for the general public.

Trace your family tree while sailing across the Atlantic on Cunard flagship the Queen Mary 2.
Cunard has collaborated with Ancestry.com, the online family history resource centre, to offer guests the opportunity to trace their family history on a seven-night transatlantic crossing. The voyage over November 4-11, 2018, will feature four genealogists from Ancestry to assist guests in learning who they are and where they come from.
Between high tea and dancing in the ballroom, guests can ask these experts to help show them where their family originated, how to sift through census and military records, and determine their ethnic mix.

French-flagged Ponant has released details of the deployment of its four sister-ships to the Antarctic for the 2019-2020 season, including a new itinerary visiting the South Orkney Islands. Between November 2019 and March 2020, Ponant will have 22 cruises aboard L’Austral, Le
Boreal, Le Lyrial and Le Soleal, each carrying 200 guests.
The Antarctic odyssey voyage from Montevideo to Ushuaia calling at the Falkland Islands, South Georgia, South Orkney Islands and the Antarctic Peninsula over 21 days from November 19, 2019, is priced from $19,410 a person twin share.
Other options include the Emblematic Antarctica voyage sailing roundtrip from Ushuaia over 11 days, with 12 departures starting from November 24, 2019, priced at $13,150 a person twin share.
