Scenic has re­leased its brochure for the Scenic Eclipse lux­ury ex­pe­di­tion fleet for 2019-20.

Early­bird deals in­clude the op­tion to book any Ul­ti­mate voy­age now and save up to 10 per cent, plus re­ceive a 20-minute he­li­copter or sub­ma­rine ex­cur­sion.

Trav­ellers who book an Antarc­tica, South Ge­or­gia and Falk­land Is­lands cruise will re­ceive an air credit of $4000 a cou­ple, plus one night pre­cruise ac­com­mo­da­tion in Buenos Aires, while solo cruis­ers can save up to 50 per cent off the sin­gle sup­ple­ment on se­lected cruises.

Trav­ellers who book now and pay in full by Oc­to­ber 31, 2018, will also se­cure an ad­di­tional dis­count of $1000 a cou­ple for cruises of 10 days or longer, and $500 a cou­ple for cruises of less than 10 days.

Arc­tic itin­er­ar­ies in­clude the Rus­sian and Cana­dian Arc­tic and the North­west Pas­sage as well as Euro­pean Arc­tic, and there are cruises to Cuba, Baltic itin­er­ar­ies and the United States’ east coast.

Scenic this year an­nounced a sec­ond Dis­cov­ery Yacht for its fleet – both have 114 suites with on-board he­li­copters, sub­ma­rine, Zo­di­acs and kayaks, nine din­ing op­tions, but­ler ser­vice, com­pli­men­tary bev­er­ages and in­door and out­door pools.

The eight-day Ac­tive Dis­cov­ery Rhone cruise de­part­ing from Ar­les and ter­mi­nat­ing in Lyon be­gin­ning on May 14, 2019, is priced from $5141 a per­son twin share – save an­other $500 a per­son if you book by April 24.

Lux­ury cruise line Sil­versea will give all guests free un­lim­ited Wi-Fi on voy­ages from this month, af­ter guests have en­joyed at least one hour of free Wi-Fi a day since Jan­uary 2016.

Sil­versea now has spe­cials avail­able on sev­eral north­ern Euro­pean cruises in­clud­ing a sev­en­day voy­age on Sil­ver Spirit de­part­ing Copen­hagen on June 20, 2018, and call­ing at Helsinki, Tallinn, St Peters­burg and end­ing in Stock­holm, priced from $10,900 a per­son twin share in a Panorama Suite.
