Crisp white-cloaked ta­bles, a stylish and smart restau­rant in­te­rior, and a view show­ing off Mid­dle Har­bour make a glam­orous set­ting for lunch at mod-Ital­ian restau­rant Ormeggio at the Spit. From be­gin­ning to end, ser­vice is at­ten­tive, swift and in­formed. The wine list has barely been opened be­fore the som­me­lier glides to the ta­ble to of­fer help with the globe-trot­ting list.

An a la carte menu,while not de­voted to the clas­sics,still feels au­then­ti­cally Ital­ian,while the aptly named ‘stress­less Sunday’ menu is a cre­ative weekly-chang­ing five-course de­gus­ta­tion.
