If an evil spirit war­rior named Kai (J.K. Sim­mons) comes into pos­ses­sion of the mys­ti­cal life force, it is all over for pudgy panda Po (Jack Black) and his posse. The tim­ing couldn’t be worse for Po, who is just start­ing to get to know his dad (Bryan Cranston). Black re­mains one of the best voice tal­ents there has ever been and should have had more room to work his magic here.

Elsa’s younger sis­ter Anna (Kris­ten Bell) is un­der­stand­ably con­cerned, and starts an ur­gent search. Frozen melts the ici­est re­sis­tance by virtue of qual­ity writ­ing, vi­brant vi­su­als and catchy mu­si­cal set-pieces.
