The Sunday Telegraph (Sydney) - TV Guide - - Week In Movies -

★★★

If an evil spirit warrior named Kai (J.K. Simmons) comes into possession of the mystical life force, it is all over for pudgy panda Po (Jack Black) and his posse. The timing couldn’t be worse for Po, who is just starting to get to know his dad (Bryan Cranston). Black remains one of the best voice talents there has ever been and should have had more room to work his magic here.

FRIDAY

command of her mystical power to generate ice and snow –plunging her kingdom into an endless winter – she goes hiding in the mountains. Elsa’s younger sister Anna (Kristen Bell) is understandably concerned, and starts an urgent search. Frozen melts the iciest resistance by virtue of quality writing, vibrant visuals and catchy musical set-pieces.
