WHO CAN’T STAND HEAT?
IT’S Gordon Ramsay week in the kitchen, which means it’s going to be (insert swearword here) brilliant. This is the final chance to see the volatile British chef (left) in action.
The contestants are divided into two teams and must cook a three-course dinner for 50 diners. They have just two hours to prepare before the service begins and the Ramsay explosions kick off.
His shows usually need a generous helping of bleeps to keep them family friendly, so it must have taken a superhuman effort for him to keep things suitable for the young viewers.
Of course, there will be dramas, disasters but also some triumphs. The way in which the contestants support and encourage each other really sets this show apart from the likes of
where the kitchen knives are used for plunging into backs rather for preparing food.
For the winning team, it’s a chance to bask in the glory. For the losing team, it’s time to put on those black aprons for tomorrow’s elimination challenge.
