RACHEL Griffiths brings her considerable talents to the local small screen, in this sensational new, four-part crime thriller.

The Oscar nominee plays detective Grace Gibbs, an ironic name for a woman we meet in anger management as she deals with the fallout from the killing of a junior police officer in her charge.

There’s also the matter of the disappearance of an international student.

Standout performances include Ian Meadows, who shakes off his nice guy image from playing a brutal career criminal; Matt Nable as Gibbs’ former flame, who still holds a torch for her; and this year’s Heath Ledger Scholarship winner Mojean Aria, a star to watch.
