The Sunday Telegraph (Sydney) - TV Guide - - Don't Miss This Week -

FOXTEL’S reputation for commissioning bold, watercooler content continues with this outstanding new drama series, which will turn audience attention to the issues facing our modern military. The six episodes have been crafted largely from the pen of Blake Ayshford ( who acted as both producer, writer and showrunner, and drew on his family experience, as the son of an air force officer. That understanding of the silent wars being waged on the homefront, as well as the toll modern warfare is having on our service men and women brings fresh perspective and an authenticity to this series, more often lost in the rush to simplify or glamorise war. This is ugly at times, and violent, as well as heartbreaking and intense, with the heroic efforts of military mothers especially finally acknowledged. Not one to be missed.
