Missing woman ‘ lured’ out

The Sunday Telegraph (Sydney) - - NEWS - AVA BENNY- MORRISON

A YOUNG woman missing and feared dead may have been lured to a remote NSW town, police said.

Allecha Boyd was last seen in Coolamon, near Wagga Wagga, on August 10 after being dropped off in a green 1999 Suburu Outback. The 27year-old Wagga Wagga chef has not been heard from since, sparking fears she met with foul play. On Wednesday, police and volunteers searched the Lester State Forest, about 15km from Coolamon.

“She was dropped off there and she showed no signs of distress or signs of duress at this point,” Wagga Wagga crime manager Detective Inspector Darren Cloake said.

Ms Boyd’s sisters will travel to Wagga Wagga this week to meet with investigators.
