RISING Parramatta Eels star Jaeman Salmon is in hot water after rolling his Jeep and smashing into three cars.

The young NRL five-eighth was taken to hospital by police after the crash yesterday for mandatory blood and urine tests.

Police said the 19-year-old was driving a white Jeep Cherokee along Kareena Rd, Miranda, when it crossed on to the wrong side of the road.

Salmon’s car hit three parked vehicles before it rolled on to its roof and brought northbound traffic to a halt about 9.10am.

“The driver was taken to Sutherland Hospital for a mandatory blood sample,” a police spokesman said. “Sutherland police are conducting inquiries into the incident.”

An Eels spokesman said Salmon has since been released from hospital and the club is providing the teenager and his family with support.

Salmon joined the Eels at the end of last year on a three-year contract.
