Dress for comfort

The Sunday Times - - YOUR SAY - CHRISTINE CHINNERY Tuart Hill

The letter from John Barich (Your Say, Sept 10) must be a joke because surely there cannot be someone with those unbelievable ideas in this day and age.

However, just on the chance he is for real, how can a grown man be so threatened by the prospect of girls dressing for practicality and not for adornment? Why does he think fathers should be consulted about whether girls have the right to wear comfortable clothes? Why is it OK for boys to dress for comfort and not girls?
